The set bonus if out of fucking control.


They're pulling ~9K with the 2 set bonus already..

 

Yeah, it seems kind of OP. I guess everyone has to deal with it xD

Gonna get the second piece and use it for arena. It'll be absolutely lethal. Whilst I don't really think it's PVEoverpowered (Ret. Paladins are still underpowered dps-wise in PVE), it seems appropriate for any PVP Paladins to use two pieces for the set bonus.

 

I do think it's OP for all situations, really. The set bonuses for other classes aren't even comparable in my opinion. IE, Elemental Shaman set bonus, we get 2 second reduction per lightning bolt and chain lightning on a spell that grants -one- instant cast. And the 4 set bonus is a slight CD reduction on a spell that's 35% of our dps (might make that ~40%) and an attempt to remove a spell from our rotation.


We'll see how it works out.


And, isn't Seal of Command the Ret. Pally main dps currently? (Without the set bonus of DS).

That's getting 10% boost with the 4 set bonus too. Jeez. :X

 

I don't really think you understand Ret. rotation, then.

Judgement and Exorcism both do more damage than Divine Storm, and, in terms of DPS, Crusader Strike should be a higher priority than Divine Storm. It's very infrequent that a Ret. Paladin has no cooldowns to be using, and Divine Storm is not particularly high on the priority scale.

Lol? No. Seal of Vengeance/Corruption. When judging it, I do 12k crits.

From what I've seen, Seal of Corruption was making up ~20% of Ret. Damage. Maybe not?

The 2 set bonus is that melee has a 40% chance to renew Divine Storm cooldown.

4 set bonus increases damage done by Seals and Judgments by 10% (I'm pretty sure).

Sounds about right, but Seal of Corruption is Seal of Vengeance - just the Horde equivalent.
