Who thinks avatar is really that good?

i think it was awsome

 

Aesthetically, it was beautiful. There was no character development though, and if there weren't any of the beautiful flashy colors I wouldn't have been able to finish it.

 

It's great, you'll really enjoy it. I saw it today in 3d, 10/10 all around.

 

I did not see it in 3D. So in my opinion, the graphics were not all that great, and as OP stated, the storyline was pretty terrible. I was shocked to find that this is right behind the Dark Knight in overall grossing movies.

 

You have to see it in 3D to get the full effect of the money. The graphics were pretty much amazing. Yes, the story line was terrible though.

Yea, thats what everyone has told me, saying that I need to go see it again in 3D. But the story sucked enough, and if a movie has to be seen in 3D for it to be good, then Ill pass

I just that it was too forced. I am sure they tried too hard to make the movie work based on the novel it was written. Normally when you have a book turned into a movie, they try too hard to capture the essence of the book. I just felt the flow of the story was awkward.

I'm watching this on saturday, after all the hype people are giving it, I saw the trailier at the movies, when I watched 2012, And I just thought it looked a bit puff.

But Yeah, all my friends are like. "Litterly, the BEST film I;ve EVER seen."

 

The hype ruined it for me. It was still an amazing movie and the actors did great seeing as 90% of the film was CGI.

 

Movie is awesome looks really realistic.

 

I've heard very mixed opinions.
Some say its the greatest movie ever,
some say it was completely awful.

I will go watch it extremely intoxicated, I shall report back.

 

It was a well done film i reckon , did better then the movies such as twilight.
