    1. I have never heard of this, it does sound plausible but I highly doubt JaGeX would allow that to happen.

    2. I was told by an ex-Admin when I asked him to recall the earliest bugs he could remember in RS. He was the first player to register on Runescape, I can't remember his name (was something like Rex).

    3. No I did not. I'm not even sure if I've ever read it and will take a look when I'm off this proxy (Sythe has my IP blocked again for some reason...).

Actually, I was just told by a player moderator that if you try to do this, you'll get a message to the effect of "You have reached the limit." No further details on this yet.

    That would be Rab.

Good to hear; I'm reading through it slowly right now and it has a lot of interesting information about the nature of early cheating programs. There are bits and pieces of it you might find useful.

Also, thanks for creating this thread in the first place: I've learned a lot from it and truly appreciate your dedication, being an avid fan of Runescape history myself.

Ah, so that's how the duel arena FT was carried out. I figured gnome-balls had something to do with it as I'd been using them for another bug, however I never managed to carry it out successfully.

I have recently found a bug that allows you to attack players in safe-zones in PVP worlds, however it requires that the person you want to attack performs the same bug, so it's kind of useless. However, Svew, if you don't already know it, let me know and I'll PM you it, as you may have better ideas than me for how it could be useful.

There were several ways to do the duel arena FT, one of them involved gnomeballs.

If any admins read this, may you unblock my IP? The firewall has me blocked again...

Lightning was the second registered user; Rab was the first:

One player said the following regarding that list:

Way back in the day there was a skill called carpentry. Well, it wasn't really a skill - there was no way of training it at all, it was just a useless entry on the skills list that was eventually removed. Everyone had 0xp in carpentry.

When the highscores were released, they used to show the first 2000 in each skill. This list was the carpentry highscores list- The first people to achieve 0xp in carpentry , in other words the first 2000 people to make an account after the game began.

However: The highscores only included active players. Anyone who hadn't signed in for a set period of time (I think this was a week or two) didn't appear... so the list is missing quite a few people.

    It's legit. :)

When the ge first came out you were able to buy godswords off of ge, dismantle and trade to someone else who would then put the pieces together and sell on ge. There would be no penalty for delay and since there wasn't the 10 Godsword limit, you could constantly buy and sell Godswords, effectively cornering the market.

Made 90m on one Saturday, got fixed a few days after I leaked it to some close friends.

I was reading this and I don't think I saw this...

When jagex first introduced lent items couldn't you take apart a lent godsword and keep all the pieces?

Sorry if it was in there.

teleport with any jewelry after you go through the first pipe ( when you stand for less than a second inside the obstacle ) in gnome agility course and you will be near the teleport location but most of the time outside of the map.
dont know if its new but i got it form youtube and tested it :)
