Perma banned but then it disappeared

Hi, so I just came back to the RS3 yesterday after years and years. I bought gold yesterday and got perma-banned this morning. I closed the game, logged back in and it disappeared. Has anyone had this happen? Is this their new way of sending a warning?

Maybe you got a manual permanent ban, that was then subsequently 'quashed'?

 

Yeah when I went to the ban FAQ from the ban notice ingame, it said that all RWT bans are manual. I literally logged out and then in and it was gone. Nothing in my inbox about it and in my offenses on the runescape website there are only two from 2015, there is nothing about what happened this morning. So weird... I wonder if that is their new way of warning/scaring people

 

That's bizarre. Consider yourself lucky, I guess. I wish that would happen to one of the several accounts I've had banned for RWT in the past. lol

I've had this happen on one of my accounts. I went to log in and it said my account was banned, but when I refreshed, the account logged in just fine without any history. Very strange lol

 

Probably bought a small amount so they reconsidered lol

 

This is very strange, are you still unbanned?
