Idea to prevent scammers!!

I had this idea that you could make sythe more like an online store for the things people want to sell like runescape accounts wow accounts.. stuff like that. Because i was scammed recently. I bought a level 121 runescape account and he took it back a day later and i lost a lot of money. I know that you can already use a middle man but that wouldnt have helped me. Because he took back the account with recovery questions.. even though i already set new recovery questions. I know that he told jagex his personal information about his account to get it back. So how am I supposed to be able to by anything without having to worry about someone just taking there account back? Btw the guy that stole my account.. I know his full name email and where he lives.. I might just go to his house. Because i found that out through his email.
So if you have any ideas to help me get y account back and make sythe safer to buy accounts plz leave replys.

 

Making Sythe an online store wouldn't change anything.

Reason #1 why I never bought RuneScape accounts:
Any account can be recovered.

When trading next time, only buy from extremely trusted people.

 

acctualy a mm would have helped since a mm would recover the account first to get rid of email and recovery and such and then you can just reset stuff and the recoveries would be active immediatly rather than waiting for a week to reset them.

 

Using a MM would prevent scamming. Infact, using common sense would prevent scamming.

 

ya but an mm would still lower the chance of being scammed you have to admit that.

There will always be idiots, therefore, there will always be scammers.

Wherever there's an idiot, there's a scammer there to scam scam scam.

 

Any account can be recovered. Making a store won't make a difference. Just use a Middleman whenever you buy accounts, gp, etc.

 

What to do... Sure everyone can answer this response if it was me.. "I'm calling his Mommy and Daddy cause I'm gonna make some new friends"

And you should have sent a password query against unset/unknown recovery questions to verify that the information he provided about the account would be enough to recover it if stolen. Or, better yet, you could have avoided account sales entirely: most accounts get recovered eventually.

 

Im sorry to say But people would still Find a way to scam.

 

I bought a 133 and jagex locked it....wtf.

Guy I bought it from is legit.....

I am only selling accts now after training them because theres no chance I will ever recover them.

 

If you are spending High amouts of money. $50+ For me, Then i will make sure its a trusted person that has like 25+ Vocuhes or 50+ Vouches. Or just make it like Rsbot, make it that it takes 30 days to see a thread on the "Market" Section. Wont really prevent scamming but lowers the chance. Another way i think 250+ Posts to Buy/Sell on the fourms, NO SPAMMING though.

 

I have sold accounts before. I gave an mm all the right previous info that I used to recover an account a few hours ago. The appeal failed for him, but worked for me. explain how an mm recovering would help if it can still fail.

I agree, Just use a middle man.
Tbh, I would never buy an account to much of a risk of someone stealing it back, once I've trained it etc.

its 2 weeks at rsbot, I like it, but it really stops new people who are legit from engaging with the site.

Errr.... its a black market for a reason.
