this snippet of your post pretty much sums everything up in my honest opinion... Catholics, or as i like to call them "Catholic Extremists" are one of the very few who believe pre-marital sex is wrong.

You are telling me, that two people require a piece of paper stating that they are now LEGALLY BOUND to each other through a GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT, To have sex. This is absurd, most marriages now days are "civil ceremonies" anyway. The catholic religion hasn't moved with the times at all, and it will be its downfall. See the youth of today don't want to stick by all these strict rules, goto a boring as fuck mass every week listening to some priest, possibly a child molesterer, read passages from the bible... The youth don't go for that, I think a prime example of a strong religion is Wesleyan, my parents have recently" joined "(keep in mind i have been out of home for nearly 5 years)... It offers a comforting community environment, with happy and motivating speaches and songs.

But i digress, the point of all this is that marriage in itself is a farce nowadays and subsequently through the fact that marriage is now a legal matter as opposed to personal/religious i feel that pre-marital sex is fine, furthermore i implore people not to get married through the system, there is no reason to let someone have half your shit... Sadly i let my mrs con me up and am getting married late next year :'(

If you believe in God, go ahead and not have sex. Ever.
But once you realize that God is merely a conjecture of man, you wont give a shit about "sinning."
Go ahead and have sex whenever, just be rational. Use protection, dont knock up/get knocked up and have a good time.

 

Also, a quick question for any the anti-prep-marital sex wankers. Do you masturbate ??? if so i would like for you to consider the fact that you are killing thousands of possible baby humans each time. Essentially making you a mass murderer... I suggest you think about this.

It's their choice, it may be ignorant in one of our eyes but in others it can seem ok.

 

It's fine, I Don't understand why anyone would think a person would have to be married to have sex.

 

Everyone is big enough to make they're own decisions. Who is to say don't and don't do that! If someone/something damns you for having sex(something that is considered beautiful) Then what kind of..well something/someone is that?

I think it's good if you have pre-marital Sex.
I'm not the person to cheat in a serious relation but I see how it would help other people to not cheat by taking away the feeling you wanted to have sex with more woman.

I myself had sex when I was just 14, I thought I was ready ( I really did).
But it all turned out f*cked up.
Almost got her pregnant, freaked out and broke all contact with the girl and her family. because the mother was threathening with things.
I bricked the house with some friends and never spoke to the girl again.
except for some drunken occasions where I had some more sex with her.
Again not the smartest thing i've done in my life.

The reason I had sex, and why I seeked contact with this girl was respect from other people, I was thought to be cool if i'd have sex at that age.

The friends I had were pushing me and were helping me to get to it that far.
They were alot older.

There could be much more interesting arguments against premarital sex than religion.

If you aren't willing to commit to each other maybe you should not be doing something that will require great deals of commitment. How ever married couples divorce and children can be raised out of wedlock anyways.

Anyways. I think premarital sex is completely fine. Use protection. The intimacy and trust usually included within sex could help be a deciding factor as to how compatible a couple is.

 

i think that honestly i want to have sex alot. and i can any time that i want. but the way i see it. the porno business now days makes it where its seem natural to have sex with just anyone being married or not. i believe that u should only have sex with 1 person in ur lifetime. unless something happens to that person. if ur truly inlove u wouldnt want to have sex with other ppl at all. and if u are truly inlove and not married. then i dont see why not. but other than that. i do not think its right to go having sex with every gf u get i am 18 and still a virgin till august of 2011 when i get married lol

 

It really depends, on morals and values, but away from saying how great sex is and shit, lets look into how can this be bad for you, don't a lot of std's get transmitted while you have sex in the teen years, a good practice is, to AT LEAST date your sex partner long enough not like,"oop 1 week, lets have sex",and know if they have an std, not just to take chances. Oh, and yeah the condom protects but, it can break, so watchout for that.

I'm also a catholic but in my opinion sex is a natural thing, if I get the opportunity before I am married, I am going to go with it.

 

I don't even understand why Catholicism views it as such a morally wrong thing to do.

-both parties enjoy it
-it's legal
-it's a no brainer to use protection, if you're the kind of person that doesn't then you probably have done other stupid things with yourself

Seriously, though: I'm pretty much with the general consesus here; if you want to do it, do it - if you don't, then don't.

 

It's type of like shopping. If you wanted a new pair of shoes, even if the first shop had a decent exterior, it may have ridculous prices (whipped?) and/or bad shoes. It's best to look around, try on a whole lot of shoes until you get a good price and a good pair! The chances are you're not gonna get a good pair of shoes for quite some time. And with marriage.... well, that's like wearing the same pair of shoes all your life. Even if they're good shoes, they may become uncomfortable after a while
