Views on cheaters on MW2.

Recently the number of cheaters that have used prestige hacks on Mw2 has boomed, and I want to know how you feel about them.

Think about the following things:

Some people have the time to get to 10th eventually, when others who do not play it often don't.

Using the hack makes you miss out on killstreak unlocks if you haven't prestiged before using the hack.

I myself modified my account to become 9th prestige, mainly because of the awesome icon, and that I don't play it enough to get there myself. I would eventually like to be level 70, 9th prestige, and leave it there.

The cheaters however are ruining any 'respect' or 'rarity' of legit 10th prestigers, and despite IW's patch, many remain.

What are your views?

 

It's gonna piss me off when i get 10th prestige after months of hard work that people can get it from a simple hack

At the moment im on 3rd prestige all legit.. No hack/boosting, though my k/d is only around 1.36 i think

 

What's the relevance of a rank? I glitched my way up to 10th prestige, just because it takes way too long to level in that game.

It gives no advantage whatsoever (don't even try and claim the added classes is an 'advantage').

I beast on kids, it's just I don't want to spend 45 days of my life playing to get there..

 

I agree with Feren that you don't wanna spend so much time on the game and it takes forever, but it really lowers the credibility of your account and what the purpose of that 10th level prestige actually means. Most people really don't care, but people like me really take that into account.

 

I hate it, do you know how it happens? Like what program they use?

 

I found a hack on youtube lol, it worked, many got patched though but I got lucky and kept my rank.

 

If there is no relevance to a rank why take the time out of your life to rank up? Is it because you are looked up upon by others when you're 10th prestige by other people?

 

I mean if you know the hack then fucking go for it. I play for fun not for ranks.
