How to create a fake "Virus" [PIC's]

Hello sythe, today I will be showing you how to make a fake "Virus". I've known this for awhile, and before I go on, it's not a Virus that crashes your computer. Letsss gooo....


Step 1. Go to your desktop and make a shortcut (Right Click> New> Shortcut)



Step 2. Enter the location as "shutdown -a" (Without quotes)





Step 3. Click Next, and then name the Shortcut "Internet Explorer" and click finish.



Step 4. Now move the Shortcut to your desktop, and Delete your Internet Explorer or move it from your desktop, and then, right click the "Internet Explorer" (Not the internet browser, the shortcut you made) and then click "Properties" and select "Change Icon...".


(It MAY (I think it always) Pop up a window saying "The file C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe contains no icons. Choose and icon from the list or specify a different file. If this pop's up, just hit ok . And it will show a bunch of available icons you can use. Find the Internet Icon, and click it, then click "Ok".




Step 4. Keep looking through the icons you can change it to until you find the original Internet Explorer Icon, and then click it, and then click "Ok". Then
it may show you the properties of it and click "Apply". (I dont think you have to) and now look at your Desktop. You've made and epic shutdown shortcut that looks like the Internet. You can do this to your friends, school, and even your teacher. There's a way to cancel the shutdown, I think you go to Run> Then type in "Shutdown -d" I think.

I PROMISE THIS DOES NOTHING TO YOUR COMPUTER. IT JUST SHUTS IT DOWN, AND DOES NOT EFFECT NOTHING.

Hm, thats kinda lame. It just shuts down, no virus.
And I dunno if this is allowed, but if it is, go to notepad, type:
start
start
start
and so on, many, many, many, many times, and it will freeze up ur comp, posssibly crash it *thumps up*

EDIT: oh yeah save it as a .bat file (for example, notavirus.bat).

No. Type in shutdown -s. Shutdown -s shuts down a computer, and shutdown -a stops the shutdown. Did you do any research?

 

is it detectable by a virus program? lol

 

No... it's a shortcut to a system file.
