A picture as proof of ownership would include something in the picture to prove it's you, for example a sheet of paper with you Sythe user written on it. Otherwise it can easily still be a picture from Ebay or something. So it is still you that fails.

It's quick enough to make a level 3 in order to meet up in game, and screenshots are enough anyway usually. Never let somebody 'check' the account, always a scam.
