When I last posted a suggestion on the fixing of a sticky, I actually had some trouble thinking of where to post it, and the suggestions forum was hardly perfect. I think there should be a section where users post errors in stickies, important threads, typos in important forums, etc.

    Thanks.

It's not the same as Feedback. When boiled down, Feedback focuses on the functions of the forums.

Well, it's not necessarily the BEST place for it, but it sure beats anywhere else.

Either way, I'd say it's a split between Feedback and Suggestion.

However, if you'd like it taken care of without posting a thread, PM a mod in that section or a global.

That is less efficient. I'm sure if there was a section there would be a stream of posts from users on sythe, and it'd be able to be dealt with any moderator online, rather than just the one you PM.

That's the point: it's not the best place for it; there should be a new section.

Why should there be a whole new forum/subforum for bugs and errors, it is clearly more logical/less time consuming to PM a moderator.

I highly doubt it would be used often, and when it is used it would only be small things.

Seriously, just use the private messaging feature. The only reason for a forum/thread on the bugs is to look cool. I understand more mods may cross it, but cmon is it that hard to just PM an active mod?

It's a question of efficiency. One mod can plow through a dozen threads of errors virtually instantaneously. There's no down side - if it doesn't experience activity then just close it up. Needless to say, there's nothing to lose.

I would try Feedback as well. It is the best section unless you have a solution for the issue which should be posted under Suggestions. If you want help with an error, post under the Help&Requests section.

You can PM multiple mods at a time. A section isn't needed.
