I have a pure question

I was talking to someone (a pure) and he told me a number like 178 that you can have attack str range and mage or something that you won't level up. Im not too sure but could someone elaborate for me thx. My def is 1 40 att 50 mage 64 str 53 hp i was going to train range

 

Depending on your defence level, you get X amount of levels to distribute between att/str/mage/range without leveling up in combat.

 

well my defense level is 1 sry

 

If you raised your range without lvling hp (SW training) you could get lvl 70 or 71 range without gaining any cb.

you can be 99 range str hp, and cb 73 with 50 attack, and you stay range-based combat level.
If you raise your attack over 50, you ll get extra comb levels, the point of this is, you re a perfect 3way hybrid if you re not over 50 attack

 

usually... let's say you have 70 range.. you can get up to 69 or maybe even 70 MAGE without leveling a combat level, except for HP. Also works for Attack and STrength. Sorry if im not too clear about this one.
