PIDs are used to get replacement stuff. You call up logitech, and say that your product broke. You give them the PID, and they will send you a new product. this can get any product, and they have products of up to 400 dollars.

I will refund you if this does not work. I can also assist on how to do this.

    selling logitech PID's

I had to replace my Logitech keyboard once, and they asked for the number, and sent me a new and upgraded keyboard and mouse combo.

    LOL, it is.

You can buy a ton of AS-IS (broken) items on eBay for cheap and get a working item (probably refurbished, they won't give flat out new ones) and make a profit.

I personally won't do it myself (have my morals), but if PID's are what .hyperion says they are, then you can definitely make $.

TWC, wouldn't test it out by giving me the code to a mice+keyboard combo first, then buy more.

He said it was too expensive of an item to start with (which doesn't make any sense, since he's selling them $2.50 each anyways). When I showed him a $40 item he said he had to go.

It came in all its original packaging, everything wrapped in plastic and whatnot.

Could of been refurbished, no clue.

I didn't have to return mine, but it was a cheap keyboard and mouse combo.

It wouldn't make sense for them not to ask you to return it.

Most of the time they would.
But since it's a cheap keyboard and mouse combo, that's probably why they didn't ask to return it.

Otherwise, even if it's broken or whatever (especially if it's expensive), they ask for it so they can use it.
They'll use either parts or the whole thing to create a refurbished product, so if someone sends a PID, they can just ship that out.

    It most likely is.

Corporations aren't stupid and they're not going to send new items. Otherwise, they'll be losing a lot more money that way.
They'll use whatever they can and send you a refurbished one.

About a month ago, I did this to get my G5 upgraded to a G500. However, they DO require you to actually send in your product to get it replaced. They give you a free shipping label, though.
