Do other accounted get banned?

If I were to get caught botting, would my other accounts be banned that have played on this computer?

One time I bought some RS gold, and bought a santa hat with it, I let a IRL friend borrow it and after he gave it back, my account, my brothers account, and every account that played on my friends computer were banned.

Will this happen if I'm caught botting?

 

Only if you get IP banned.

 

I don't getting every account that was played on your IP address banned if you bot. I've never read any other post saying that but this one. Sooo Most likely not is you answer.

 

It doesn't go by i.p. address it goes by account.

 

Depends on the employee's mood. Lol, or if they have reason to suspect that you have a gold farming company.

 

Jagex only implement IP bans if they suspect you of being a RWT company. So your other accounts are pretty safe if you get banned.

 

This has never happened to me, so I wouldn't worry about it. If it does happen, it's very rare. Are you on a new IP since the last time this happened?

 

I've been alright ever since my first account got banned. I think you'll be fine in my case, but like other people said, there could be some changes that could possibly cause the staff to IP ban you. Maybe some new rules by stepping up security. Good luck.

 

Jagex rarly I.P. bans, they will only I.P. if you are threating others and or them or things of this nature. I have had 1 account banned for botting, thats because I went away for 2 weeks left comp/bot going. And it's just a red flag when you go from 1-95 wc on willows without logging out straight from tut. As for my other accounts, still have them. I have heard of people getting banned while botting 2 accounts and only one of the 2 gets banned, most bans you get are from people reporting, if it's from a jmod or their system you won't see a offense in the offense system, just the disabled message for game & forums.

Wrong. If you pay attention to the Runescape forums -> Jagex Lite, you'll see that they do ban peoples accounts that are related to the account botting/advertising a website without banning the IP.

This is true. The only time I've seen an IP ban would be for somebody who has a massive bot army that could crash items easily. The only times now-days that you'd see it is if somebody was mass-botting to sell the gold, and detected as RWT over a period of time of constantly being banned of hundreds of accounts. I used to have a small army of 10 - 15 at a time, when one got banned most of the others got banned probablly because they where all running at the same time when detected with the same script. But no, I've been botting with multiple accounts at once without a ban. I haven't seen one of my accounts banned in a year or so. Use closed-source scripts, and you'll be perfectly fine with the right hours of botting.

Maybe it was just a bad timing and all of the people you're related to that got banned broke the rules around the same time as you....
