How long should I bot?

I've heard stories of people getting banned cause they botted too much in one day. Some website told me only to bot 6 hours each day to avoid getting banned. Does it increase my chance of getting banned if I botted 6 hours with 2 accounts in one day? I'm not sure about it but I think it doesn't make sense if I'm using 2 different accounts. I just bought my bot last night so I'm not sure about this yet.

Try to make it look like you're a human. Play no longer then a max of 8 hours per day, including breaks. Instead of breaking sometimes, randomly go to the g.e, train a different skill etc.

 

No normal runescape addict takes breaks. Breaks don't do shit. When i loved runescape back in 2006-2007, I played 8-10 hours a day without breaking.

Depends if your bothered much about the account getting banned. I've done 10 hour + stints on some accounts and gotten banned.

If I bot on my main I just do it for like an hour or two then play normally for a few hours. Not been banned on that acc yet (figners crossed!)

 

As everyone said, bot as if you were a human. Take into consideration what you would do. I normally bot every evening for about 3-5 hours. It isn't a lot, but I don't prefer taking the risk.

 

So, no one actually answered my other question. If I was constantly botting, but I switched up between 4 accounts and ran each account for 6 hours each day, would I increase my ban chance from just using 1 account for 6 hours a day? Or would it not matter since there is no way to trace all those accounts back to me?

 

no, different accouts dont really matter. I usually bot 2 accounts 8 hours a day. been fine for 2 weeks =) both over 10mil gold atm. hehe

 

I've botted 10 hours a day, every 1-2 days so far, and no ban.

Honestly, I'd suggest doing 10h and being safe, you may do 6-8 to cover your ass.

I know, regularly, I can play 8-10 hours straight. That's not only me, too.

 

I advise playing like 3 hours then do 20 minutes work yourself. Dont take frequent breaks that does grab jagex's attention id say do around 6-9 hours a day.

 

i bot 24 hrs than take a break the next day and play for like 20m and hang out in ge talking to people. then bot the whole day away the next day.

 

i recommedn using rsbot.net it has a great built in anti random / anti ban. Nothing wrong with rsbot.org but theres a somewhat better chance of not getting banned for a little fee of using rsbot.net

 

Also, what type of client is most likely to get banned? Are people that use nexus frequently banned?

 

Since you should mimic normal players when you bot, probably no more than 6 hours a day.

I think it might because of the same IP address.
Of course you could put a proxy after botting one account.

 

Max 10 - 15 hours a day.
I personally do not like to suicide bot.
I know many people who do without a ban, but it's not smart.
Bot for a few hours, build a comfort level but don't go beyond that.
If you go over the comfort level you might get carried away.

 

I bot every other day for 15 hours,then stop botting from fri to sun..eta,got 7O wcing.
