Removing recoveries

Is it still possible to remove recoveries off accounts because it won't let me. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

 

It should still be active. There shouldn't be a reason why you couldn't remove
them for no apparent reason. Yea, I just checked, the button allowing you to
remove recoveries is still there. Therefore, you should be able. Try using a
different browser like IE if it don't work.

 

That only works for remove pending recovs.
You have to recover the account as "stolen" if you want them to be gone.

 

No you don't. Go to your account section in the home page. There should be a sub-section that says Cancel Recovery Questions. You can also just set new ones and it will eventually replace the old ones. It takes 14 days for the recovery questions to come in to place for both ways.

Direct cancellation is only a direct "pending recoveries" cancellation. In order to cancel any already active recovery questions, you have to make a successful recovery request for an account by choosing "recover a stolen account" as the option or choose "somebody knows my recovery answer" as the option. Once Jagex can confirm that you're the real owner, then they'll unset your current active recoveries and you can set new ones.

 

I just say that my account was stolen, recover it, and they are removed. It takes a few hours only.
