Anybody know how to get around youtube videos restricted in your country.

Hello, i would like to view a video on youtube that is blocked in my region. I have tried using a different youtube address that makes it embedded, but that doesn't work. I have also tried using a proxy, that didn't work either.

I don't think that will help because i already have an American IP address.

 

I didn't know Youtube was blocked in the USA?

 

Some videos posted outside of the USA are restricted to that country alone.

He's not talking about the actual website www.youtube.com being blocked, he means individual videos.

 

Yes, sorry if i wasn't clear enough about that. I have a video on my account that's blocked in Germany.

 

some countries block American surfers, as you may know we're not liked around the world.

 

Actually it's more of a copyright thing, i believe the reason i can't watch a certain video is because of Lionsgate. I also have a video with the song Obstacle One which isn't available in Germany.

 

Yes but all countries like American money. If the United States is blocked from a video, it has nothing to do with a company's personal opinion.
