WoW Vs. Aion; the ultimate debate

Definately Aion. I have played WoW to the fullest, and got bored before Aion even came out. I just started playing Aion, not even level 20 yet, and I agree that Aion is better. Many people say its just another cheap copy, but WoW was a cheap copy of Everquest, the basis of MMOs. Aion is nowhere similar to WoW. Just similar to every other mmorpg as is WoW. I personally like Aion better because the uniqueness of story, characters, battle system, world, and above all, graphics. I actually prefer that you all stay on WoW so I don't have to see you taking my kills XD. But if you really insist on playing, please join us. ^ ^

 

Aion. WoW is too 'cartoony'.

Wow is much better then aion, aion is just more boreing grinding to the level cap, Aion only has better graphics the pvp isn't very good, roll a mage and you can faceroll any other class.

 

I have to say that wow is a really good MMO but its sucks the life out of you. Aion is not that much like wow. its not addictive and in my opinion its more fun. i give this one to Aion. Go AION!!!

 

ive played wow before and i have to tell you. its the most Sh*tteist game in the world. go with aion. it dosent ruin your life.

 

WoW. I just LOVE the endgame instances and make Aions look like balls (in my opinion) also, PvP is a lot more balanced in Aion and the story is far more interesting in the World of Warcraft (the entire WC trilogy)

Sorry pal but it's impatient morons like you who don't deserve to play endgame content, let alone getting a group for an instance

 

IMI, WoW is just better. WoW has always been the simple, fun game that everyone loves. I think aion is just another cheap asian game >.>, but you can never determine which one is BETTER, its ALWAYS up to peoples opionions.

 

They are both different games, can't really compare the two.

 

Either way your going to want to play a lot. If aion is more fun then WoW your obviously going to want to play it a lot.

 

Is there like a trial? Keen to try it out but doubt it will stop me playing WoW.

 

Aion promised to much and they really let me down on that game. Too much hype and not enough gameplay.

You can't compare them, World of Warcraft has been out for 5 years. I played when it came out. I know very very few vanilla players, and that is the stage Aion is in. When WoW came out, it was hella grind, 60 was a big achievement. They made leveling on WoW 100x easier, so people don't have that much of a problem hitting 80. If NCSoft decides to continue with the game, and add expansions, they might make the leveling a bit easier, and more end game content.

But,
all in all. I enjoy WoW more.

 

Its a good game but feels like a bit of a grind personally i have decided to sell my account just for that reason and that you have to level up to 26 before the pvp even begins!

 

Yea its like ages ago when people tried to compare wow vs guildwars, totally different types of gaming, cannot really compare, it just goes along with what you like.


But that goes with just about any game tbh. For example, Counterstrike/Counterstrike source, It's just so many ppl.

Counterstrike 1.6 better gameplay

Counterstrike Source: better graphics. Easier to get Hs's.


Its all in perspective of what you like or enjoy


I use to like wow, But as for being addictive, It just depends on personality tbh. Any game I play I can get addicted too, Im sure there are people that live on Aion just as WOW, Well maybe not that many but give it time

I enjoyed WoW 10x more, Aion isn't even on the same scale. But everyone has their opinions and they aren't going to agree with one another. It's just like the 360 and the PS3...
