    RAM problem

    i bought two 1GB RAM modules for my computer, i put them in and to my BIOS screen to see if it recognizes them, which it did but when i went to the properties on my computer it said i only have 1GB even though my bios says i have 2, how can i fix this?

    RAM problem

    Make sure both sticks are plugged into the slots all the way. Also, do you have 2 or 4 slots for RAM?

    RAM problem

    Make sure its plugged into the first and third slot.

    RAM1 and RAM3.

    RAM problem

    my computer only has 2 RAM slots and requires 2 they are plugged in all of the way, they are DDR2 and im pretty sure i mentioned that my bios screen recognized there was 2 GB in but my os doesnt

    RAM problem

    basically: windows vista home premium, emachines W3629, intel pentium 4 cpu 3.00 GHZ processor, 32 bit....anything else?
