Steam Requirements XP?

I've been looking at most games requirements are XP and ect, Does that mean lowest requirements? or means only will run on xp?

If I get windows 7/Vista will it run all my steam games?

 

It should run all Steam games. Take into consideration that 7 and Vista require more resources to run than XP.

 

Steam in itself is program that allows users to interact online over a vast number of games found in their libraries of games. Whether you use chat or voice, steam is a great way to play online with others accross the globe. The requirements for steam are as follows:

HOWERVER, games that you play in steam can vary. Older games will obviously have less requirements, and newer ones will most likely require more from your pc. Now, your OS does not really matter, it is the PC specs itself(RAM, HD space, gfx card, processor etc.) If you put vista or 7 on the computer, it will most likely just eat more of the hard drive and ram. You are better of running XP if the computer was made for XP.

 

I also forgot to mention, every game has different specific minimum requirements. Make sure you look up the requirements for the game which can be found on the product page.

 

All steam game will run on windows 7, I haven't had an issue with any of my games on it, and I have played 30+ different fps games.
