Do you consider,in on way or another,luring scamming?

Luring isnt scamming if the person is dumb enough to follow than he should lose all his items.

Stupidity leads to being scammed in the first place, therefore luring IS considered scamming, because you're taking a persons items without them being conscious of what you're doing.

 

It wouldnt be luring if you told the person lmao. therefore defeating the whole point of it. if they dont want to get lured stay out of the wilderness or wherever they are at at the moment.

 

I feel it is. You tell someone ..
1. fake information about how they get money
2. trick them into believing/having faith in you
3. steal their money
Also, what if I make a fake MSN for some OMM and make them believe that I'm really them OMM and steal their money...wouldn't that be scamming?
In both scenarios it is using people's stupidity/ naiveness to your benefit.

In my opinion, any manipulation of someone to gain there items from them is scamming therefore luring is scamming

 

I dont think luring is scamming, you dont ask him for your username / password or you are not stealing anything from that account.

It's scamming, but it seem like a good challenge (I have never tried it myself, however).
I am against general scamming, but luring is more of a thinking game

 

Diffrence between scamming and luring is that when you scam some one you are taking advantage of the little knowladge they had in the game. But luring is different. When some one step in the wilderness or go to a pvp world they know the risk and are gambling that risk. So if you decided to take the risk and you got lured. Then tought luck on you. Should have thought about it first.

 

luring is taking advantage of someone's trust and faith and using that to your own benefit. You trick them into crossing the ditch and then you kill them and get their possessions.

e.g.(using sythe here) what if I make an OMM's MSN trick someone into believing I'm [N]ick or something and then scam them?

Now people consider that scamming,why not luring? it is the (almost)exact same thing in just a different scenario.

It's quite bad imo, as you are taking advantage of others for your own personal gain. But, as its just a game, go ahead.

every person is aware, as soon as they re about to log on a bh/pvp world that they may loose all of their items.
If they re aware, they take the risk, therefore it is not scamming, but the lured people just decided to take the risk.

 

if you are dumb enough to believe that someone actually dropped close to 100m on the ground in the wilderness, then yes, you do deserve to die.
