how much do script writers make a month??

i am torn between reselling gold and writing scripts for a living. So wondering how much they get paid thanks

It depends on how much business you get for both selling gold and scripts

And when selling scripts it is also all about how good of a programmer you are and how much experience you have. There won't be a set answer for you im afraid.

Gold reselling might be a hard market to get into with no experience because of super low margins, fierce competition and RWT bans which will wipe out all your profit

 

thanks. Ive asked a few members about gold reselling and have some experience reselling other games but not runescape. Margins are good once you are established coming to 15-20% which is good enough plenty of profit to be made

 

Bulk sellers never make those margins, that is if you get a huge loyal customer base yes, which will take a significant amount of time and effort to establish here around Sythe. But anyways goodluck.

No as it depends on way too many factors.

 

This is pretty insightful at least for the OSRS/RS3 world having a bit more background most cheat developers make serious $$$ usually join a private group or go on to sell exploits for other targets/platforms.

 

Being somewhat technically experienced becoming established really comes down to showing that your capable and interested. With game-hacking communities there is a lot of toxicity so some technical skill combined with maturity goes a long way. I'm honestly just focusing on learning more and getting some work out there eventually aiming to join a group of private developers.
