[Denied] Challenging the Proof of Not Macroing Norm

Currently; Whenever a service provider is being accused of botting as an end result of a customer/client macro ban, the immediate resolution to bring the service provider to safety is by providing screenshots from runelite folder that shows the level up screenshot.

As a lot of you are probably aware by now; botting clients don't really exist anymore, with most scripts being AHK or custom programmable recordings that can be used within any client of choice; including runelite. Not too mention; i've seen other clients that are indeed not runelite; that label themselves are runelite even though they have the capability of adding custom scripts to them, they still show up in a runelite screenshot folder.

I'm recommending that the proof alone of runelite level up screenshots should no longer be definitive proof that the person who was on the customer/client's account did or did not use some sort of macro software.

Open to suggestive ideas, with how advanced programming is now a days, and how the runelite coding is also easily obtainable, I just think it might be time to find an alternative solution to give more credit to the customer, and hold service providers more reliable for whom they are hiring.

No support, I'd even argue the other way around

Jagex is notorious for handing out false macro bans. Example: Jagex has been dishing out macro bans to Venezuelans, while in reality, they had not botted (RWT: yes, macro: no). This would most often happen when they'd play from their own IP and do things like build a hunter account or go to sand crabs on a fresh account. Generally a lot of Venezuelan IP's (if not all) are flagged and part of their ban system is automated.
But even when bans are not automated, the truth is, sometimes they just give a random ban reason and mix RWT and macro bans up. It's random. Everyone who ran a decently sized bot farm in the past years knows this.

In other words: A macro ban does not necessarily imply that a worker has engaged in botting activity.

Although I do agree with the fact that a Runelite screenshot doesn't imply that botting activity has not happened. But hey - so far it's the best we got. If you have a better suggestion to demonstrate that the service has been happening by hand, feel free to share it with us.

Responsibility for macroing bans is something that should be stipulated through ToS agreements between the buyer and seller before the trade.

Level up screenshots are not something we usually actively consider as evidence one way or the other.
