2012

That's a really good theory, how would the mayans know that we would still be alive...

 

I highly doubt the world is going to end on 2012.. acknowledging the fact the "knowledge" we have is from a civilization who doesn't exist. at the very most a tsunami or some natural phenomena will occur [but the chance of that imo is slim as well]
i don't no for sure what's going to happen,no one does, but imo nothing huge.

 

Stuff happens every day. I expect dozens of different opinions on which event close to that date was foretold by the Mayans.

 

It is a bit mind bending because 94% of all Mayan predictions have been proven true. But I don't think that 2012 was a "prediction" just more of a laziness act.

 

well shit man if the world ends its not a big deal, i have a chance of dieing every day i could die tommorow or i could die in 90 years. People thought it was going to end in 2004 2000etc. etc., chances are its not going to end in 2012, its just another solstice just like very other year the sun and earth and the center of the galaxy will align wow just like every other year. As far as im concerned the worlds not coming to an end until about 5 billion years from now when the sun runs out of hydrogen starts fusing helium and it grows in size and eats our planet and just about every other planet.

 

My friend's little brother named Christopher has a birthday on December 21st. Nothing says happy birthday like a Solar flare melting his face off.

 

Jesus Christ people, the calendar doesn't end on 12/21/12, it starts a new cycle. The calendar is a circle, now where are you getting the idea of there being a dead end while going around in a circle?
