Assassins Creed 2 or Modern Warfare 2?

I'm getting money for Christmas, and I'm buying an Ipod Nano, and I'll have enough left for one of these games, which one should I choose?
(xbox 360, and I will be able to get live a bit later.)

 

Assassins Creed II if your just gonna beat the game and let it gather dust. Which you most likely are.

Modern Warfare seems like you'll play it alot more often than ACII

 

People have told me that AC2 is really fun. Looks fun although you have a good point, don't really wanna waste $100 on it if I'll just finish and let it collect dust(it's what I did with Fallout 3 :/)
So at the moment, highly considering MW2, although would like some opinions from Sythe!

MW2 is a fail. I'd prefer assassins creed, even though it's only single player.

 

MW2, Since Ac Dosen't have Online and will Just Be Left There, And MW2 Is Imense

The online play will keep you going (as long as you're willing to pay for live)

Take your time with Modern Warfare 2. If you played Call of Duty 4, the storyline
will be very familiar with you. It's possibly one of the greatest storylines to continue
one of the best games every created. I always wanted to buy Assassin's Creed
2 as soon as I could, but couldn't get enough money for it. Have fun with the
MW2 storyline. Don't be in a rush to get Live JUST yet.

 

I have infact completed CoD4 storyline.
I'm an alright CoD player, not good enough for online yet though .
And I won't be getting live for around 3months after I get CoD, so enough to to practice

I really don't see a point in you buying Modern Warfare 2 if you don't have Xbox Live yet, since it's more of an online mulitplayer game.

Mw2 online sucks a bit to me, the matchmaking system is horrible.
