No but it notifies you instantly of a Grand Exchange update; Thus, you can be one of the first to put in an offer at the new price which means if ANYONE sells in the ge, you will receive it.

Also, i set my update notification thing as 'email'

 

"they" ..i your referring to jagex yes. And yes you would go put a new offer in the GE.Also, I didnt include the email as I figured the phone is a faster way of contact and you do not have to be at the computer to be notified.
