    A few days ago I purchased over $300 worth of gold, my card was charged, and then I was told my gold can’t be delivered because the name on my ID didn’t match the credit card (I used my father’s card for this) so okay that’s fine, I asked for a refund. I was told I’d have to wait several days, and to place an order with the correct ID. So I had my father place ANOTHER $300 order with his ID and card. They charged my card, and then told me, and I quote, “we can’t deliver the gold, you have 2 IDs on your acc which is very weird” now here we are several days later, im down $600 with nothing to show for it. If they cna charge my card immediately, they should be able to refund em immediately. Dont understand how this is good trading practive when I’ve seen people receive DNTs and TWCs for this.


    By the way I have a TWC because I live in a hotel if anyone wants to question my credibility im sure the Sythe servers can determine that lol

    Regarding the refund, the reason refunds take so much is because they are processed by an external payment processor ( either bluesnap or paysafe for creditcard) and the whole process takes a while to refund. That is also why we mention that a refund typically takes 3-7 days to fully reverse to you.(it has happened in some cases that some banks have had problems accepting the refund and it took more but it's typically that time) By using an external processor we also improve the customer's security , because we never get access to the full credit card information, we only get the last 4 digits, in order to do our security verification to prevent fraud.

    The reason you might be asked for ID after some time has passed is to verify that you are still the person purchasing the gold, not someone who gained access to your account and is now trying to take advantage of it. There's two approaches that a business can take generally -either set the cheapest prices and do verification, or set prices high and not do verification and tank the losses that can arise from chargebacks. We've opted for option one, which does mean that there are some drawbacks, but unfortunately this is 2022 and people will try to scam you anywhere, so verification has to be done. We wish we didn't have to do it as much as you do , but it's necessary since you are paying with real life money.

    Customers should always receive the fees from our refund though - if that's not the case feel free to message me and I'll provide the necessary proof that on our end it was the case, even if you aren't linked to this report.

    Update : I've found the orders that he is referring to and there are some inconsistencies here :

    - You claim that it couldn't be delivered because you used your dads card for this but in our livechat you stated this :

She was unable to do the verification for you, so we refunded (on our end it is done, I can provide evidence to sythe mods via DM since they have sensitive info of the customer)

    On a second note, the part where you mention ''“we can’t deliver the gold, you have 2 IDs on your acc which is very weird” now here we are several days later, im down $600 with nothing to show for it.'' is incorrect, we never said that. You made a second order using your father's card( I'm assuming it was you this time ) and verified him with all the necessary information we needed. The second order was delivered, and not meant to be refunded as you claim - are you claiming you did not receive the funds?

    As stated , the refund can take 3-7 days and we are on day 5, having done the refund on our end the same day the order was placed.
