How Safe Is RWT These Days?

I was planning on buying a few bil from ChicksGold on an alt and waiting a few days to a week before trading it to my main. I plan to trade it by pretending to GE scam my main rather than directly. Should I be worried about getting flagged/banned?

 

It's pretty safe IMO. I've traded tons of bills directly and I have never been banned or warned.

Do what makes you comfortable though.

 

How much have you traded after Jagex "tightened" security? Are you doing anything differently in recent months to avoid detection?

 

No. Just trading as normal. Quick in and out trades.

 

i feel like they are monitoring rwting more than before but still pretty "safe".

 

People recommend to buy from an older account that has a high total level.
On top of that, I personally recommend to buy from an account that hasn't been ridden by the village.

Since Chicks is such a popular supplier, would it be safer to buy elsewhere? I was informed by Chicks staff that they haven't received any reports of a ban in the last 2 months. I hope they're telling the truth, but I guess we can't know for sure. I know they do have higher levelled accounts, which they use for larger transfers.

 

More complications you make higher the ban rate gets.

That seems a bit overboard for a few bil. Also, leaving the monies on the alt is not a good idea. You are SOL if the alt gets banned. Then you lose an account and the GP.

 

I just would suggest not usiong a mule, ive heard a lot more reports of people using mules getting banned

 

Pretty Safe, But being smart on how much you buy does help

 

Wym by being smart? I think any amounts are just the same, its if you get caught
