At this point, Chrome runs Sythe much faster than the other browsers, but seems to have a few issues.

The main one peeving me right now is that I can't create new threads on it - when I click on "forum tools" it's like tapping the "page down" button. Nothing happens...

Just a quick suggestion to whoever does the tech maintenance. It's also possible that it's just an isolated issue on my side, so if anyone else uses chrome with no problems, please post here.

    Thanks

When it pulls the page down, there is typically a button (off to the upper left hand side, located directly above the tab "Display Options") that says "New Topic". Click that and it makes a thread.

I also have some issues using Chrome.

For example, in Firefox when you click a username it makes a drop down menu with options..

And in Chrome, it just takes you directly to the users profile.

Ya I don't have a solution to that one. It happens on mine as well.

The issue is with vBulletin's javascript coding. It is more of a failsafe then anything. If it comes across a browser it doesn't recognize, then it will hand out a javascript-less design in order to prevent breakages, as there is a fucktonne of workarounds for seperate browser javascript issues within vBulletin.

I did propose a fix, which is to include chrome within the safari check, but it doesn't work for an unknown reason, and I cbf to work out why.

I use Chrome just fine. I can make threads and stuff with no problems.

I have no problem with that. I like it that way.
