Bought a new xbox

Alright, so I recently bought a new xbox off of craigslist, but when I try to turn it on I get audio but no video. I tried messing around with the cable but it still didn't work. Do I just need a new cable or is it a different problem?

 

I'm assuming your playing on 'HD'
Here's what I did, Firstly, on your TV just watch TV, Then turn on your 360, Now, go to your Component channel or whatever, see if this works. Try the different output and input channels.

 

I am not on hd, but I did try it on hd. I tried doing what you suggested too, did not work.

 

Try it on a different TV, Maybe that might work.

 

I tried that too, no luck is it the cable or a different problem?

 

Then yes, it's probably the cables. I suggest you buy one quick
