Information



An Armoured Zombie is lvl 85 undead creature with 85 hitpoints. They aggro for an excess of 10 minutes, so afk training is possible, but requires you to check back every 4-5 minutes.

Armoured Zombies are favoured as the ideal training spot for many, due to how they offer upwards of 60k xp p/h coupled with 150k p/h cash. This ideal combination of fast experience and cash makes them favourable for many people.

Requirements / Suggestions

* Defender of Varrock (Required)
* A minimum of 100 combat. (75 att+, 75 str+, 75 def+)
* Fairly good training gear.

This is a members only training option.

What to bring

There are many different setups in circulation, but in general there are two methods used by most people.

Method #1 - Tank Gear coupled with Bunyips to ensure a long stay.

Method #2 - Prayer Boosting gear coupled with praying and Guthans.

Inventory

Method #1

This method is for people who are tanking and are using a bunyip. Super Strengths in this case is convenient and Excalibur can be used to boost defence levels if you want to use the special bar.



Method #2

If you are going with the prayer boosting armour / fairly decent gear and with no bunyip, this is an ideal inventory. Guthans for healing, dragon battleaxe for strength bonus and restore pots. A secondary option could be substituting dba + restore pots for super strength pots.



Getting There

These are the steps on how to get to Armoured Zombies.

1) Using a Games Necklace teleport to Wildnerness Volcano, then bank and setup your inventory + gear.



2) From there follow the line to the Chaos Altar, and climb down the ladder.



3. When you get here, there are two training spots. One is close to the altar, and the other one is far away, staying at the training spot close to the altar is optimal. The red circle indicates the training spot close to the altar.



Drops

These are the drops that you should pick up.

Herbs (Rannar Only)
All Charms
Noted Oak Planks
Noted PLanks
Noted Teak Planks
Noted Pure Essence
Blood Rune (Will add up)
Coins (Will add up)

These drops all add up, and it's possible to earn over 100k p/h.

Tips

* Make sure to wear Salve Ammy (E), or Salve ammy because the unenchanted version gives 15% bonus to attack and str against undead. The enchanted version gives a 20% bonus to attack and str against undead.

* Every 10 minutes or so, the zombies cease to aggro at you, so run north, come back and they will aggro again, this is great for afk training.

* There are 3 different types of zombies, 2 use melee and third uses range, so be careful if you are using protection prayers.

* There is an altar just up the ladder, so make sure to use the most benificial combat prayers possible.

* You can bring a beast of burden familiar pouch, so you can use it to store the extra drops when your inventory is full.

* There are quite a few grimy herbs dropped, so you can choose to clean them and drop them if you want.

* It's possible to get 100k xp p/h here, with very high / maxed str bonus, with prayer boosts and super str pots and not picking up drops.
