First sig ever. :s

Alright, I wanted to sorta try some signatures and other graphics but its not going so well

I've looked at man tut's and its really complicated, does anyone know of any real easy tuts to help me?

Here's my first sig ever...

 

It's a good start, shows massive potential, but of course, there's some things that really stand out. The blade things in the middle don't blend correctly with the picture. Neither does the guy to the left. It's like it was just copied and pasted on. The text on the bottom right is kinda indulgent and really doesn't belong. The whole concept is good, it's just execution needs to be done. For starters, try lowering the opacity on the picture and the blades in the middle. Then, work your way towards the text on the bottom right text by at least adding some sort of effects. I have a few ways that you could pick up on some pointers, same thing I used, but I don't want to post it on here as a way of publicizing the website and earning an infraction.
