    Hey guys, I'm looking to buy an iPod for cross country and track.

    I would prefer the new iPod shuffle, however just about anything slim will work. Just a note, I live in California, U.S. Keep that in mind when you are offering.

    • I'm not sure on the generation (It's not a brick iPod; But I don't think it's necessarily new.
    • Model no. = A1199
    • Color = Silver

    It's a 2 GB iPod.

    Condition of item

    The only thing that is wrong with this iPod (As shown in the picture above) is the top (Where the hold button would normally be) is broken off. It came like this when I got it off of a friend at school. However, it doesn't affect the iPod itself and if the hold is a must, you can use your finger nails to turn the hold on.

    Thank you, I was pretty sure it was either a First or Second Generation Nano.

    I believe the 1st generation nano only plays music.
    2nd I think it plays video not really sure.
    But 1st only plays music.

    1st Gen is normal
    2nd Gen has a mirrored back (that's it?)
    3rd Gen plays videos
    4th Gen has the video camera

    the 5th generation has video camera :) which i happen to own.
    It's either 2G or 3G that plays videos.

    2nd gen is the one in the pic. plays music and views photso
    3rd gen skinny and more square plays movies music and views photos
    4th gen is the one you can do cover flow its the newest just no video camera
    5th gen is the newest does everything with video camera.
