    Car Possession

Just a question if anyone knows,

I have been in possession of a skyline gtr R32 for several years, the owner has moved away an left it in the garage, the car is locked - i have attempted to ring him multiple times but no response . I never agreed for the car to be in there for several years. Do i ever gain possession of the car seems it have been on my premises for years?

Well, it's on your property so... why not?

Legally it's not your's, but if questioned you can say it's been there with no knowledge of any owners and you have tried to contact the previous believed owner.

If I were in your position, I'd use it.

Why would someone just leave a expensive car on your property lmao?

    I'd just keep it....

Call the cops and report the car. Something of that value, according to some stupid law, has to be impounded.

Actually something like this happened to my friend a month ago. If you have had the car in your possession for a certain amount of time and you tried to contact the owner you can keep it. But you need to fill out some papers

Be better if it were an r33 but nvm :p you're best off requesting it to be removed from your property by the police ' hopefully it's not taxed ' then trying to buy the rights to the car off of them before they crush it :) dunno wether that would work

I hope you get to keep it. I have an R33, but R32's are awesome if it's turbo.

And before some dumb dickhead comes back with "All skylines are turbo", you can take the turbo out. And i have an R33 Series 1 GTS, which is N/A and was made that way.

Why would you take the turbo out of a factory turbo car? Its more hassle than you would ever need, unless the turbo goes out on it. If that happens you are screwed since you cannot run a engine that has a factory turbo out of it.

    I knew i'd get shit.

Okay, i live in Australia, so does the original poster.

We are not allowed to drive turbo cars until we hold our license for 3 years. So, lots of kids with Skylines, take the turbo's out, since we are not allowed to drive with turbo. Better to drive a skyline without a turbo, then to not drive one at all in my opinion.

That is way to much work, i would just buy a decent car till i could get one with a turbo. You would have to bypass the whole turbo unit (like i said, hell of a thing to do with factory turbo). By the time you got done taking the balls out of it, it wouldn't even be worth the spit on the ground.

Except for Tasmania. God I love tassie. Love that place~ LOL.

    : On-topic, I'd keep it for sure man. A R32 GTR 20K+ in value tbh. And Tyson, I'm saving up for a R33/R34 or a Silvia S15

Well as i said, i have an R33 Series 1, they are made without a turbo.

But i was just pointing out, that i hope his R32 has a turbo in it, and that it wasn't taken out by the previous owner since that happens a lot in Australia.

    Aaah you're so lucky hahah!

Awesome, definately go for an R34 over a R33! Silvia's are sweet though, my friend had an S13. The S15's look amazing though, if its in good condition they look like a heaps rich kid car hahah :).

When i can drive turbo, i want to get a white R34 GTT. But my dream car is a blue R34 GTR V Spec II! <3

Same exact situation as tow truck drivers. Once it sits on your property for so long its yours and nothing they can do after that time period.

Hahaha oh my.. GTR V SPEC's. Looking to spend over 50,000 are we ? :p haha yeh man I'd rather. I keep finding decent R34's, but there non turbo'd & automatic or so called the "P" platers car in the mainland. And yeah s13's are nice and cheap too common though. Ohh and the s15s there beautiful. my neighbors have a black one, shiney as fuck and his girlfriend has a pink one. Ill take a photo next time. What a couple dammit.

Because a car is more than a machine that gets you from A - B & makes you seem intelligent talking so much about.

On topic.. call the guy and look into the conditions of keeping the car - or use the internet to avoid getting fucked over by the law. Good luck keeping the car and becoming another stupid hoon who makes Australia's roads that bit more dangerous.

I think you have to call the police, and see what they have to say.

    or

Get a locksmith get the keys made etc, and then after that drive around until the guy asks it back. Only bad thing is the owner can report it stolen and you be in trouble.

    or

Maybe he left the title in the car and you can forge his signature to put the car in your name. Then its your car.

Those are just some things I thought up of.

I would keep it, but try calling the police and asking, don't tell them you have one, but find out.
