    Paypal help.

Hi there, I just recently got 100$ via Paypal and now I can't do anything with it. My country set was USA because I set it while I was on vacation, same with my address and such. I can't modify my country because it won't let me change it. Also I can't add any CC or Bank account because I've got no credit card and my bank account doesn't fit in thoses format.

I've sent a request to change my country.

Thought I still can't send any money?

If anyone would help me out I would be willing to pay around 8$ if you can tell me how to unlock the account to be able to send money without having CC registred.

    Thanks in advance, Halp.

    Paypal help.

You need to have a cc or bank account on your paypal to be able to send money.

    There are 2 solutions though.

Buy a VISA giftcard and add it your paypal.
Use roy's guide on how to verify your paypal using netspend. Net spend is an online bank account that you can add to your paypal. Let me find it for ya.

If you don't want to do the net-spend method like fatih said.
You should just do the country request method.
If they sent it as a gift then wait for the request for country change,if they didn't however, tell he/she to try to get back the money;make a new (Canadian,Australian,British) PayPal account and have he/she send you the money to the new one.
Hope this helps and good luck on getting it fixed. If you need anymore help feel free to PM me or just post here.

Fatih, both of your solutions will not work because Netspend only works if you reside in the USA. If he doesn't live in the USA there will not be Visa gift cards readily available, and the resellers in his area will not have gift cards that match the USA Paypal standard formatting.

Halp, I suggest you continue with your request to change your country. Paypal will request identification and most likely force you to verify your account with a CC and bank account, but it is worth it in the long run.

Angel, great idea, but it doesn't fit his situation. He has already received the money into his balance. Therefore, he cannot send the money to anyone to make your method plausible.

Maybe you can call paypal or ask someone from the USA to call paypal and tell them that you made a mistake when choosing your country and that maybe could help you change it?

Luckily for Halps, Paypal is toll free to call internationally. They will have no problem fixing this for him if he provides positive identification.

Also, let's not restate something that has been suggested.

    Well there is two options
    1. Contact Paypal
    2. Purchase a Virtual Credit Card.

But I guess your best bet is to contact paypal.
Also netspend method does not work anymore.
I have a method of my own that works but I will never release :p

I suggested that because if he calls from an American number his chances may be higher.

I didn't see anyone suggest that yet xel.

His issue at the moment was due to him using inaccurate information. Pretending to be from the US will get him nowhere.

Paypal has toll free calls and service internationally, there is no reason for him to call from the US if he wants to switch his Paypal's country to a different one.

I said he could call them and say that when he chose a country he made a mistake and now he can't change it back, they might do it for him. Or he can make a new PP and tell them about the "mistake" and see if they will transfer the money to the new paypal for him.

    Paypal help.

    I'll call them tomorrow.

The other method with Netspend didn't work and they also answered the mail I sent to them concerning the problem by saying that I'd have to close my account then re-open. This would cause the loss of my paypal cash.
