Swimming?

Hey I was wondering if anyone here swam competitively? I swim a lot (about 4-5 hours a day) and I really enjoy it! I'll post my times if someone does swim competitively.

 

Not really, i swim sometimes tho.

 

I'm on a swim team and we compete other schools about every month. A month ago we had out championship that took like 7 hours. Since the season now ended I'm not going to swim until January I think.

 

cool, i swim with my high school just at competitions... i practice with a year round team because my high school is pretty slow =P what events do you swim?

 

Yeah I'm on my highschool team as well as a summer team. We train 3 hrs a day through the summer ( plus meets) and in my school league we only have 2 days of training a week so it's pretty easy. I swim 50 free, 100 free, 50 fly, 50 breast and 100 breast. Yeah, mostly sprinting.

100 fly- 53.3
100 free- 49.8
50 free- 22.7
100 back- 57.03

Those are probably my best events (I'm stuck swimming every event though...) My goal is to go 51.9 in the 100 fly.

 

I rarely swim;Just to think of how many people may have pissed in a pool freaks me out.

 

I like to swim in a pool.

 

I swim every Thursday.

 

haha, i always piss in the pool... my coach gets mad if we get out during practice

Only event thats close to urs timewise is 49 in the 100 free.. 50 is 23.8 or something

im not. but my high school came #1 in florida girls.. #3 for boys.

I used to swim competitively, although that was a long time ago. I think it was when I was eleven. But I was one of the top swimmers in my age group in the state at the time.

 

I can barely swim. I took lessons when I was 8 and just never got the hang of it

 

I don't swim competetively but i take classes once a week. Also i have to swim for school.

 

its cool how many swimmers are here... if you enjoy swimming you should definitely consider competitive swimming! its so much fun
