Possible 100% Manipulation Method (No loss guaranteed)

Hi,
This is now a recruiting thread for the no loss guarantee manipulation clan, Manic Manips. Read on to see our method of safe merchanting.

How it works
-The same as most clans, but with one small difference. As usual, everyone buys out an item to make the price rise. But the item has to be unenchanted gold jewellery.
-Once the price peaks, the ranks of the clan would buy out the jewellery from the other members at minimum.
-The ranks would then sell them to the Rogue character, who buys ALL unenchanted gold jewellery for minimum GE value. He will buy any amount, simply note the jewellery and use it on him.

This would eliminate the risk of not being able to shift your items and being stuck with millions worth of junk which rapidly decreases in value. It would also make the clan more successful, as people would be less afraid of this outcome which would otherwise be inevitable for some.

This would only require 5+ people who can sell to the rogue (complete summer's end and unlock jail doors in the rogues castle via spirit realm). People who have completed this quest and unlocked this NPC could also sell directly to the rogue once the peak is met, this would mean the decrease in price would be minimised as there isn't a massive increase in supply.

If you wish to join, you must meet the following requirements:
-AT LEAST 10,000,000gp that you are willing to invest.
-Be active (log on at least once a day, even if it is just to check profits etc) on Runescape
-Be willing to stick to the dump prices strictly. There is no risk of loss involved, so this is simply unnecessary. If you wish to dump your items early, alert a rank and sell the items for MAXIMUM.

Clan Ranks Explained
Clan ranks mean the following:
Friend - Member, has not completed Summer's End and cannot access the Rogue NPC.
General - Member, has completed Summer's End.

No one has any kicking power other than the Manic Manips account itself. If there are problems in the future, which i don't expect to happen, then i promote the most loyal people in the clan as people who can kick. This will be a last resort, though. I want everyone to be equal.

Currently, not all of our members meet the 10m gp requirement. But as we do not release our first item until January 1st exceptions have been made and time has been given to gain money. The 10m gp limit still stands, but if it is not reached soon these members will be removed until they can reach the limit.

And just so you know, this clan is not just for the higher members. All members are equal. No one will get heads ups on dumps etc, the dump price is when we will dump. Thanks again.

 

This Is Very Interesting... A Clan Like this Im sure will crash G.E.. maybe you should make a clan like this and not tell people.. that would be awesome. SYTHE MEMBERS ONLY! lol..

I unlocked the rogue and had a load of junk sapphire amulets left over from a manipulation i did, about 1m worth at minimum. I had used about 7m worth for junk trading, which took a few weeks. Whereas this took seconds to get rid of 1m.

I think it would be good if it was a private clan, but thne mass amounts of people would be lost.

But if there are too few people buying the item, it won't rise enough. I'm thinking that a public one would be fine.

 

How do you get the ability to use the rouge charcter?

 

You complete Summer's End and use Jennica's ring to access the spirit realm at level 50+ wilderness. Then you close the jail doors there, so they open in Runescape. Then you talk to the rogue who is kept prisoner and he tells you that he has a business and to find him in Varrock (south of the east bank, slightly west).

The portal to the spirit realm is at the back of the castle when facing it from the teleport obelisk. It is between the skeleton and the broom leant on the wall.

I know A few MODS and user Educaters who lets say have a Merch clan and one of the leaders happens to be my IRL friend.. so maybe i could propose this to them and lets see what they say.. and btw the requirements are to have 10m+ to join the merch clan. so that way not alot of people can join and just crash it.

 

I have plenty to merchant with. My account value is about 40m and i use about 15m of that for merchanting.

I found a public clan that are doing an unenchanted piece of jewellery. I have invested 10.8m. I will let you guys know how it goes so we can judge whether it is worth doing

 

This is actually a really good idea. But wouldn't the price of the jewelry just continue to rise since the items are no longer in the game? Meaning there's less in circulation making them harder to get?

But then again I suppose gems aren't the hardest things to get so maybe it won't have that much of an effect.

Despite my usual habit of avoiding "manipulating" at all costs, I'd be curious to see how this would work

However, by getting rid of items and bringing in more coins, it DEFINITELY will add to the huge problem of inflation.

 

Which is why it should be abused before it is patched... Hehe...

As some people wouldn't be able to sell to rogue, members of the clan who could would buy the jewellery at minimum via GE and sell them to him. This would both restore the price and prevent anyone being stuck with the item for a long time.

I also feel that this method would give people more faith in a manipulation, riding it to the end and maybe not even dumping until the price drops a little.

 

So, you can even sell noted gold jewellry to him?
