Ways to bypass a firewall and access blocked sites

For firefox users, we have this application called, "torbutton." Essentially, it re-routes your network with the use of another network. The only downside of this is that tor has unpredictable speeds since there is no telling which network you might connect to. Even though you can choose the region of networks from which to look from, sometimes the nearest networks are not available or just too cramped and filled with people to use.


For non firefox users:

This is a client where you can accesss tor with.



3. Google Web Accelerator

Even though this is not available for download anymore since it prevented youtube videos for playing, it has network bypassing capabilities. If it feels the internet is not fast enough, it will bypass it and thus bypass the firewall. However, it might take multiple tries for it to bypass so don't sweat if you need to press enter a few times.


Downside: This is not downloadable on google but can be found on download.com without a problem. Also, it is uncompatible with Firefox 3.0 so you may also need to find an older version of it.

Yeah for these guides you need to post alot of multiple ways.. I had one a while back but have no clue where it is now.. most schools/works block proxies.

Hi folks, I have synthesized all I have learned on accessing blocked internet sites in a text file. I think there all of you that have problems opening something on the computer in work could find a way to do it.
