Very little effort was put in this, I wouldn't even call this a guide.

All you did was copy and paste the requirements and post an image or two.
You could have just given the people the link.

 

It is a guide. People don't know know this and he is educating people.
Oh, the title ain't really clear. It says "Turn your PC into a TV/Radio!. How the hell do you turn a pc into a radio...
Should have been something like "how to make your computer into an entertainment system" like you said in your intro.

 

I'd have to agree, don't take this personally but it's not exactly a guide. It's just pictures, requirements and the outcome isn't much, or hard to get.

 

You should also mention you can't do this outside the US.

 

Unneccassary guide, 1/10 for trying. Put more time into it perhaps. Copy pasting requirements and linking a couple programs hardly qualify as a guide.

you dont even tell us how to do it.

 

For your first guide, I think you can expand on it a bit more. Add more information instead of photos. Move away from listing everything.

The job of the User Educator is to basically cricticize other members' guides. One small detail in a guide can be a big one. Just take what others have in mind.

Yes, he's educating people, but he needs to expand more like I said. The first guide is always the guide that people follow to get better.

I doubt you can make a tone when your criticizing UE guides. It's not really about Fatih's guides, but more on v Angel v's guide. He/she wanted more feedback and Fatih was just giving it to him/her.

Job of the UE is to criticize.

This is a guide, he's simply using pictures to explain it. If you don't agree with what you see, give constructive criticism or simply leave the thread. Any further useless spam will be infracted.

I've taken the liberty of deleting any useless spam on this thread.

 

Angel, the recent update with more pictures completely changes the guide from what I had originally seen. Keep up the good work. I like your style of simply using images and pointing out the important parts with bits of text. It hits me a as a "post-it" kind of method.

Wow, much better! Love the pictures. Maybe add more colouring to the text? People don't like reading a wall of writing.

 

Edit > Go Advanced > Replace "[LARGE PICTURES]Turn your PC into a TV/Radio!" with "Make your computer into an entertainment system"
