Thought I'd give that popular typography tutorial a try. It's definitely not as good, but I think I understand the method pretty well.

I have tried to follow that tutorial so many times, never got the outcome I wanted.

    Looks too pixelated imo.

That looks awesome to me! Colors look nice, and like the flower stuff on the letters. Could you show me the tutorial you used to make it?

That's because I am working with CS2 and it doesn't have the "refine edge" feature so when I used magic wand to select the front faces of the letters, I had to use 1 tolerance which if you use photoshop, you'd know makes for a very pixelated selection. Then I had to go through with an eraser tool and erase the very outsides to smooth it up a bit, it still doesn't really help, but it's good enough.

Thank you for the comments, the tutorial is found if you google "photoshop typography" and go to images, I don't know the rules about linking here so I'm just not going to give a direct link.

I'm pretty sure you can link it. Anyways, I found the tutorial but it says you have to make the letters in another program, which I don't have. :(
