    Marines or Air Force (U.S)

I was thinking about getting a DEP (delayed entry program) discharge from the U.S Marines and join the Air Force instead.

Reasons why; quality of life is (from what I see) better in the USAF.

    USMC: Combat over intelligence.

    USAF: Intelligence over combat.

Should I stay in Marines or get discharged and join USAF?

In the Marines you cannot pick your job. I wouldn't know till after basic.

Each branch of the military is VERY different. The Marines and Army are offensive and Air Force and Navy serves as support, however this isn't set. But they all serve the same purpose.

Depends on what you're interested in.
I want to work with the Marine corp medically, so i'm going to be a corpsman.

It all depends on your interests, and the background of the branch, that can satisfy that interest.

    Goodluck.
Not every job in the Marine corp requires you to get shot at, you could go your whole service without getting in the line of fire, my cousin never had too, talk to a recruiter, see what you can do.
