A smell that reminds you of RuneScape? Whenever I smell my house's carpet after a long day it reminds me of RuneScape.

Meh, you should read up on it. Smells can triger memories. I've played Runescape while smelling that and therefore it reminds me of it. It happens to anybody, if I was cleaning while smelling it I might remember cleaning.

 

Yes, but Runescape shouldn't be on your mind when you smell a fucking carpet.

 

When I play Runescape I'm on top of a carpet, therefore I smell it. Thus, that smell triggers my thoughts related to Runescape. It's not all the time, but it's happened.

Tbh. My carpet doesn't have a strong smell. If I want to smell my carpets smell I have to put my nose right against it.

And nothing that I smell triggers runescape.

No smell does it for me, but ironically enough, the music of Les Miserables reminds me of Runescape classic. The reason for this is because when i started Runescape and was in that "everything is new and exciting" stage, my sister was a Freshman in high school, and her school play was Les Mis, so I'd be sitting on the computer playing Runescape Classic for the first time ever and I'd be hearing Les Mis music in the background, so now the music often makes me have nostalgia about those early days of Runescape where everything was exciting and surprising.

 

A song reminds me of a game of css that we played against birmingham salvo and lost 16-14 at i34 can't remember the song though, another song reminds me of florida (i have runaway) or something like that, but the smell of my dads office reminds me of when i first started playing runescape and i used to play in there when i first started back in 03 it doesn't do it everytime i go in that office, just the smell triggers memories like you say. it's not weird nor do you need to see a therapist, i only insist you hire a carpet cleaner XD

I can't think of a particular smell, but whenever I hear someone mention that they just started playing RS I remember the first week or so after I joined, and how much fin I had exploring and struggling to kill that damn highwayman xD

What he said is true, certain things trigger certain memories.
Like if you smell a certain flower it could remind you of the time you gave someone a flower just like that.

Wow you don't have to be a dick. Things bring back memories get over it. For him specifically it's a smell for others it might be like a show on tv someone used to watch when they first started rs or something it can be anything that can trigger a memory and cause someone's memory is triggered by a smell your all dickish about it.

How about you quit rs and go get help and maybe become less of a dick.
