Possibly coming back to RS - need ideas for Pking and such.

I quit from RS about a year and a half ago. It got boring - there was no (good) pking, the game was repetitive and they took out ways to buy GP.

I have a pretty noobish account - 50 attack, str def, 70 range, around 65 mage but has 99 FM (just wanted a cape that wasn't cooking, so went to the next most noobish thing )

Can this in any way turn into a pker? I DO NOT want to spend endless hours getting 90-99 in a level. Im thinking decent amounts of training to maybe tank? But im not sure how the new PVP system works.

I just started a new guy with a pretty sweet name, what levels should I aim for a middle CB Pker nowdays? Do 1def pures and such still work well?

 

The account with 99 FM could easily be turned into a tanker. You can get 70 def 85 range 60 att 80 str 85 mage and easily own.

1 def pures do still work, but once you're in the 70s, you better be pretty close to maxed. BH worlds you would be fine at 1 def but PVP worlds you would get owned with the pure.

 

Sounds like it would take A LOT of time to train though.

How much HP would be good? Like, can I alch the 85 mage?

Since you have def, just make a tank.

 

If you want any good pking it requires alot of time and effort though.

 

Bounty hunter and PVP worlds fail, the only people who use them are tankers and str pures anyway.. And those who aren't tankers or pures are usually 120+ with godsword's or nooby level 80 one itemers. However, high level mage, ancient magicks, owns tankers in good armour.

 

Get 70 def and level your other combat skills higher.

 

Go for a range/mauler.

75 range
70 strength
50 attack
1 def
1 prayer

That'll be good to start, just range till low and whip out maul (spec) for the kill. You can always combo with a rune c'bow if you want to. Good luck

I suggest going range tank, quest for defense xp get lunar/barrows gloves/avas and your golden. you could always void range rush, thats always fun.
