Need Feedback on my aiming perspective [READ]

Hey guys, Im aiming to start something Big. Yes big, a Website. Not any old website though, Its going to be about Gaming. I Want alot of traffic comming into it, So i have 2 options, and i need you to tell me which option i should go towards.

Shoud i...

A) Make a website about GTA Series, with Cheats, Mods, etc.

Or

B) Make a website about ALL Games, With Reveiws, Cheats, etc. (Also tell me what i should talk about on the site.)

Good luck competing against all the other already established websites that are just like that.

 

Option B.
GTA forums are really hard to get a lot of traffic since there's so many out there.
If you do get everything settle and organized I could do some graphic work.

I'd choose option B, because it's over a broader range of games.

However, make sure you advertise your website substantially, otherwise it'll get nowhere.

If your website is going to be anywhere near decent it'd have to be something akin to GameArena, GameSpot and so on, which focus on ALL games, have reviews, videos, tips, file uploads/downloads and so on. Cheats are usually only a minor section of such sites.

 

Invest?
You don't even have a "blueprint" yet.
I suggest you actually get your plans ready before you start asking for donations.
Also this project will be somewhat related to machinima/ign/g4
So I recommend you have some good web design skills and whatnot.

 

Not trying to be a douchebag here but you are probably going to find your site unsuccessful.

There's hundreds of video game forums out there, what will make people leave those sites and come to yours? How are you going to climb up on search engines?

 

I agree, you'll have more traffic with option b

 

Good luck. Atypical websites rarely, if ever take off. You have to have something unique added to catch people's interest.

Gaming isn't bad, but it's never going to get big unless you somehow manage to outdo everyone else in the market niche.
