Should I sell my iPhone 3GS or keep it?

I've just gotten it today. It was part of a trade that's soon to be completeted BUT:

Should I keep it or re-sell it?

The data plan is $20 more expensive from my current plan's (50-30). I have yet to charge it (it's new... like just out of the box new).

It's getting towards Christmas time and I see these sell for $400-$600. Now I'm stuck as to what to do..

I've always wanted one.

 

Sell it, 3gS not a HUGE difference, plus 4G comes out like may next year.

If you can afford to upgrade your plan I'd say keep it. The iPhone is pretty much the only selling point to having AT&T (just my opinion).

 

I would keep it. I just got a 3GS and they are very good.

 

If you have a purpose for the money that would be coming in, then yes. If otherwise, then sell.

 

The IPhone is, no questions asked, the best phone on the market. It has free updates for the phone, unlike any other phone. Another plus is that it has countless apps which give it unlimited possibilities. If you're planning on getting the 4G then I would say wait, but if you want the phone that bad, keep the 3GS.

 

Sell it if you want some cash, and buy some other phone

 

Keep it, worth it for fun and shit.

 

Mmm...I personally love my 3gs. Its a great phone, I always have service anywhere I go...whether I'm at Long Island New York, or bumfuck Egypt Kentucky. Its not like 1 or 2 bars either, its full bars with 3g. Not only is the service great, the apps for it is amazing. I pay all of my bills on it, everything. ie: phone bill, car note, insurance, I've actually order shit online with it. Its like a little computer. The games you can download are fun, I bought the megellan roadmate app (its a gps). Works just as good as any of the other Gps's I've used. Its got 32gigs of memory, I put all my songs on it and still have a shit ton more space on it for whatever.

Its just a great phone.

Sell it and get an iTouch. Mobile phones are over hyped and hardly ever used for their original purpose any more.

 

I love mine personally, it's awesome, the service is great, and there are TONS of apps ranging from fun to practical.
