Sythe gold to buy few donor perks?

Just trying to help give sythe gold purpose....

what if we allow some donor perks to be bought with sythe gold? we can make the costs pretty high so people can't as easily obtain them or you can limit sythe gold to sections outside of the market... this way people aren't farming this via bumps etc and people can obtain gold by being active around forums.

the whole point of this suggestion is to give sythe gold purpose while giving users an incentive to being active outside of the market. this will also gives those a chance to have these perks without having to spend money.. especially for those who can't afford it.

 

I dont think theyr ever gonna use sythe gold for anything at this point and have just given up on it

nonetheless I support any idea giving sythe gold purpose, what perks do you have in mind and at what cost?

 

I am not sure.. but I can spout a few ideas...

• Larger avatar should be able to be purchased with Sythe gold...
• Custom user title at a high cost otherwise $50 donation.
• Same for enhanced user titles.
• Minor name change for sure... keep the major name change for donation only. With this being said... let the minor name change be a one time thing or a change only allowed after every 6 months.. or year etc.
• Prize boxes should be allowed to be purchased with Sythe gold.

 

As Blaze said, I support most suggestions about Sythe gold. I personally was about to suggest what to do with it

I believe that since Sythe gold is cosmetic, it should go towards something cosmetic such as miniranks, user titles, and such

 

Definitely. I would love to be able to purchase miniranks with Sythe gold..

 

^none of this will ever happend why? cus ppls wont have reason to donate anymore and even if that suggestion would be accepted by mods for sure wouldnt be accepted by Richard cus thats legit aiming at his income. So based on that no support.

Yes i do agree somthing would have to be done (mybe early bumps which you would be able to purchase with sythe gold)

But then again if you go to pending suggestions you will see 2 FULL pages of pending suggestions which go even back to fricking 2017 and will never get implemented why ?


Cus they all waiting for Xenforo 2 update but Xenforo 2 is pretty much like ETH 2.0 it just wont happend so dont waste time hehe .

 

I mean lets see what he thinks. @Sythe sythe gold could also be sold for a price as well in the user center. I don't see why not since its already being sold by other users.

Ppls have paid advertisments so im not really sure how are you going to fix that issue if someone who rented out their UT will get timeout from using it.
On top of that Chicks bumping like 100+ threads rn which mean he accumulate around 600 sythe gold + per day which means he could just lock his whole competition threads or time them out not sure if ppls in gold bussines will like that and still want to use this site.

 

It has become apparent to me today that the use of Sythe Gold cannot be anything extreme. As Sh33dy mentioned, someone like Chicks, who have 66.10 posts per day and 183k Sythe Gold, would take advantage, to the point of overdoing it, with whatever is decided for the use of Sythe Gold.

For that reason, it has to be something small/not significant where it puts into question if adding something like even worth it?
