Oh, I get it. Since abortion has been legal, the population has had it's largest influx of lives.

I mean, maybe it's because more and more, abortion has been considered immoral. );

Sooner or later, there will be so many people on earth, we're going to have to start standing on each others head.

 

Abortion is still wrong, simply because people have developed methods to live longer that doesn't mean unborn children should be killed. They might grow up to be the person who finds ways to sustain life on mars.

But abortion aside, i think methods of population control are being used in different ways. Such as, i beleive there are cures for aids, cancer, etc. But in order to control population they haven't been leaked to the public.

 

I think he messed up the thread title. What he means is the population is growing at a fast rate, and people aborting fetuses isn't helping.

What does that have to do with anything anyway? People get abortions because they don't want a child.

 

I will not be alive when that day comes. And if I am, I will be so old that I get to be the one standing on people, rather than being stood on.

Everything that can be thought, has been thought, or will be thought. We don't need more people to think up new ideas, we need the people we have to start working together, and stop complaining about cultural differences.

Of course other methods are being used. We have serial killers for a reason. They play a valid role in our society.

(We also have the a-bomb, and such).

Here's my theory, since we legalized abortion, all the pro-lifers are rising up and saying "let's overly procreate to make up for all the aborted babies, and then some!".

Why is abortion wrong? Why is terminating a pregnancy any different from not conceiving in the first place? But, as usual, the Christian fundamentalists (the lord of runescape, that's you) dominate the debate, particularly in America. There have been cases of doctors who perform abortions being murdered by people like you, which does not seem like an example of god's infinite love and forgiving to me.

Abortion is not a religious issue, it is an issue of personal choice.

No-one is suggesting people deliberately have abortions just to use the stem cells.

But if a woman CHOOSES to have an abortion, why shouldn't she be able to save other people's lives?

 

I lack to see the logic in this thread, because we have abortion the population is rising? In case you were misinformed abortion is something people do if they have an UNWANTED child, not to deplete the population. Abortion will not discontinue because the bible told you so.
