Delete Accounts

Start deleting un used sythe accounts.

 

i somewhat support. Delete accounts with like under 50 posts that havent been active in half a year, anything higher keep. Ppl can always come back

 

No support theres over 75,000 un active accounts that would take for ages.

 

It could be done with a single SQL query.

However, this would serve absolutely no purpose and give no benefit what so ever.

Not to mention, the query would put a lot of load on the server, some threads/posts would display inaccurately, people who've scammed and been deleted couldn't be banned... etc

 

A larger memberlist is good for attracting potential advertisers to buy ads, which keep sythe up.

I also support but have higher limits. Like those names under members that are leechers with 0 posts, the name with the weird characters that are at the top of the list. Maybe you could appoint people to sift through the "members" list and add members that are within limits to a queue. Then moderators and administrators could accept the members so they don't go crazy and delete every member.

No support! I know customers that have come back with 20 post to fellow sythe members like r2pleasent, my enemy but a good guy all in all! Just being nice to people like him and his customers!

 

Let's say there was a guy active back in the day. His account gets deleted and someone else uses the same username and claiming it's the same person.

 

I saw deleted ALL Banned Accounts and Remove all their posts.

Because All I see on every other thread is someone who is banned and it's pretty irratating.

 

What if someone wanted to come back to Sythe using an old account, I don't think that this suggestion is really logical or thought out.

 

This would not benifit sythe, But I sortof support it. Possibly the users who have been inactive for 2 years+. I think it will cut down on scammers. But that is no excuse to use because if someone isn't trusted with a decent post count then it most likely is a risky trade. Yet this is just creating work for an unbenifitable effort.

 

No, just a dumb idea.
