My partyhat

I recently got on GE and bought a yellow partyhat right as it updated.

This is my second time doing this and the first time i did it i made around 30M selling it for risings, but what im wondering is. I've still got the cash for whatever else i want really ( bandos ags, arma dfs ) and i would like more cash for things ect but im wondering if holding on to p hats for a LONG LONG LONG term investment would be a good thing.


I EVENTUALLY think p hats will be worth max cash seeing as there discontinued and there will always be more money flowing into the economy of rs.

I like the yellow p hat ( my personal Favorite ) But I just want your oppinions.

Umm, LONG LONG term, yes they will go up slowly people will lose them and the number in the game will diminish... id say like 5 years though..
The better option i would think is just to keep it, and remain merchanting with the money you have, that way your always going to be worth something and you can capitalize on your phat aswell.

I'd keep it until the peak of them. Perhaps just keep it, build cash around the party hat for the next couple years? Just enjoy the game, skill, eventually the phat will pay off.

I brought red mask for 380k many many years ago maybe 2004 ish. Now they are 40m. The point is, rares will invariably fluctuate in the short term, but in the long run they will continue to rise.

If you got the Phat in the Ge that means someone decided to sell it in there for a reason. It could be a start of the phats crashing again( hopes ). I myself have enough money for phats at trade price so that's not the problem it's just the prices for them aren't close to what they should be. So what if you can't get them anymore? They have no use unless you merchant with them.

 

Step 1: Sell it to someone trusted for 250$ + Trade Price.

Step 2: With the money (In-Game money) you got from selling it, try buyng another one in g.e.

Step 3: Use the 250$ to buy gold from someone trusted, you should get about 100M with it.

Step 4: Congratz! Your 100M richer in a few minutes, without needing to wait 5 years for them to rise 100M!

Step 5: Love me long time <3

 

Definitely keep it. I bought my red partyhat for 187m in ge and it's up to 290m now. Partyhats will always continue to rise because no more are coming into the game. Since you still have 100m+, just keep it and make money from the value of the hat increasing.

I wouldnt keep it to long, party hats/rare prices arent changing because of a lot of regular people wanting the items, its because of merchanters owning the prices. If your goal is to get max cash i would just sell phat or hold on to it and merchant while either pking none stop or what ever is *YOUR* best method to make money.

EDIT: LoL its going to take like 8years for them to be worth max cash, and thats considering this runescape is still around then, and that might not even be considered max cash then because they might come up with a new way of counting cash.

you think it will be worth max cash, what about the higher priced phats? will they be worth maxed cash x2? Think about it..
