    So at the moment I have my xbox 360 connected to my HD computer monitor through HDMI cables. The computer monitor is pretty much acting like the tv.

    Now however I want to start using a capture card to record on my xbox.
    The following capture card doesn't have any HDMI input or output.

    Is there a way to convert HDMI to RGB so that I can still record?

    If not can anyone suggest an external card for about the same price that can record in HDMI.

    Yes, there are HDMI to S-Video adapters but they cost a lot.

    How could I get high definition recording without using a converter?
