Thats my opinion for if there is a "God".

 

I doubt that there is a real purpose to us existing. Just survive, I guess.

 

I agree. I'm atheist however I have always found that if there was a god, then a deist's god was the most plausible.

However, life was extremely improbable so we are very lucky to be here.

 

I believe that God wanted us to make banana-nut muffins, cum on them, and then serve them to unsuspecting victims and watch them as they eat it.

Or something like that. But I absolutely know I'm right. Absolutely.

 

Okay tough guy, it was obviously blueberry muffins, not your disgusting heathen banana ones.

 

We're here to learn. Notice how throughout life we learn about things and about people, and we create relationships with people and learn how to be good friends and not loose them. We get a satisfaction from understanding and knowing things and feeding our curiosity. No one knows what the greater purpose of learning is if we are all going to die anyway, but then again no one knows what happens after you die.

 

I mean who eats banana muffins?

There's probably a billion galaxies, almost all of which have many solar systems etc.

Not to shit on your views, but do you find it plausible that we are the only life in the universe? This is an actual question, like I said, I'm trying my hardest to respect your views. If you do acknowledge the odds that there is probably life elsewhere, would you also consider it to be a product of God?

From a theist's perspective: Maybe a test. Who will believe in me and who won't, even when I provide them with insanely subtle and disputed hints of my existence?

I think god is a young entity that's going to some sort of school that is using us as a science project.

 

Maybe 'god' didn't put us here?


Evolution is an accepted fact, we were not 'put here' by anything or anyone.

We evolved over billions of years from something that, through a fluke of chemical reactions became alive, and because of that there is no 'reason' or anything that we 'we made to do'.

 

Evolution is not an accepted fact. It's a theory. Big difference.

Also, before you ask, I believe in evolution and am atheist.

Simple!

As our biology teacher once told us that earth formed by cells, strongest cell would survive and proceed to develop, weak cells would die. This is how we formed i presume.
